A driver has been charged with impaired driving after crashing into a parked Ministry of Transportation (MTO) vehicle on Highway 800. The incident occurred late at night when the driver lost control and struck the MTO vehicle, which was stationed for routine maintenance work.

Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene to assist. Fortunately, no workers were inside the MTO vehicle at the time of the collision, and the driver sustained only minor injuries. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of safe driving practices. The driver is set to face charges in court, and penalties may include fines, license suspension, and potential jail time, depending on the severity of the case.

Highway safety officials are urging all drivers to remain vigilant and avoid any substances that could impair their ability to drive.
