BREAKING; A vital forward pack member has been re-signed by the Parramatta Eels as they rebuild under Jason Ryles.

The Parramatta Eels have re-signed forward Jack Williams as a key component of their rebuild under new head coach Jason Ryles. Williams, previously with the Cronulla Sharks, has agreed to a three-year deal. Known for his dynamic play as a lock, he averaged 90 running meters and 26 tackles per game in 2024. This move comes as part of a broader reshaping of the Eels’ roster, aiming to restore the club’s competitiveness after a challenging period.

Ryles, who took charge in July, has focused on correcting roster imbalances, including significant departures like Reagan Campbell-Gillard and Maika Sivo. These changes have created salary cap flexibility for key acquisitions such as Williams, and the addition of NSW representative Zac Lomax. These moves highlight Ryles’ intent to revitalize the forward pack and enhance the team’s attacking and defensive depth.

This recruitment effort aligns with Ryles’ broader strategy to rebuild the team, emphasizing both seasoned talent and young prospects to solidify the Eels’ future.
