Wrexham have made his final decision

Welcome to Wrexham: The third season of the Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds program has been decided.
The popular documentary series has followed the last two Wrexham campaigns, but after being recommissioned, the upcoming season is expected to focus more on current events.
The popular documentary series “Welcome to Wrexham” has undergone a significant transition that will result in the upcoming season premiering in the spring of 2019.

The acclaimed FX series, which has documented Wrexham’s last two campaigns, has been given a third series order due to its popularity in the first two. The announcement of a new season coincides with the conclusion of Series 2, introducing the club to a global audience.

The current series has chronicled the legend of the Red Dragons’ storied promotion back to League Two, following its debut with six Emmy Award nominations. The subject matter of the next series will probably be more current given current events, though this will be a major format change.

Autumn marked the premiere of the first two series, which both took place just months after the events they portray. On the other hand, compared to the previous two campaigns, Series 3 may witness the events of the current season’s business end broadcast with noticeably greater immediacy.

‘Welcome to Wrexham’ could potentially include the current EFL season’s run-in in Series 3 by the following summer. The Red Dragons are presently occupying the second spot in the fourth division, so if Phil Parkinson’s team can maintain their current level of play, the show might feature back-to-back promotions.

The last episode of Series 2 of the show will air on FX in the USA on November 14 at 10 p.m. PT/ET. The UK version will air on Disney the following day. Scenes from Wrexham’s April 22 promotion-securing day are anticipated to be shown in this episode.

FX Entertainment president Nick Grad made the following statement regarding the decision to alter the format of the two-time Critics’ Choice winning series for its upcoming installments in 2024: “The wild global success of ‘Welcome to Wrexham’ is a testament to the courage and vision of Rob and Ryan, the dogged spirit of the Red Dragons, and the hope and devotion of the people of Wrexham.”
