TO FINALIZE THE ROSSONERRI MOVE, STRANHINJA PAVLOVIC LANDS IN MILAN
Milan coach Paulo Fonseca is on the verge of completing his second signing of the summer market after having acquired former Atheltico, Juventus, and Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata, as central defender Strahinja Pavlovic has arrived in Milan to seal his Rossonerri move from Red Bull Salzburg.
Milanese journal La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the 23 year-old Serbian international has landed in Milan late Monday evening in order to begin his new journey in the Serie A. It is presumed that Pavlovic will undergo his medical examinations Tuesday morning at Casa Milan.
The central defender is set to sign a long-term deal with the Rossonerri after Milan have reached an agreement with the Austrian outfits for a transfer fee of €18m plus add-ons.
Throughout last year’s season, Pavlovic has demonstrated his capability of being a pillar within the back-line, accumulating a total of 26 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga, as well as amassing three goals and three assists.
The goal was scored by Marco Nasti but the move began all the way in the left-back position with Filippo Terracciano. What followed was a very patient display in keeping the ball.
The young goalkeeper Lorenzo Torriani was even involved, and a 33-pass move was finished by an Alexis Saelemaekers cut-back and Nasti’s first-time shot. As one X user replied, ‘Tutto bellissimo’.
