Angus Young to Join Guns N’ Roses for Epic Final Tour – Guest Singers and Cities Revealed…
Rock fans, brace yourselves: an epic chapter in music history is about to be written. Guns N’ Roses have officially announced their final world tour—and in a move that has sent shockwaves through the rock community, AC/DC guitarist and co-founder Angus Young will be joining the band for the entire run. This unprecedented collaboration promises to be a thunderous farewell, blending two of the most iconic forces in hard rock.
Slated to begin in September 2025, the tour—titled *“Paradise City: The Final Ride”*—will cover more than 30 cities across five continents. Angus Young’s participation will include a full set with Guns N’ Roses, along with special tributes to AC/DC. While Slash will remain lead guitarist, Young will join for extended dual-guitar sections, paying homage to both bands’ legendary catalogs.
“We wanted to go out with something no one would expect,” said Axl Rose during the press conference. “Angus is family. We’ve shared the stage before, but this time, we’re bringing the house down together, every night.”
The tour is also bringing in a rotating lineup of guest vocalists and musicians. Among the confirmed names are Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Halestorm’s Lzzy Hale, and Alice Cooper. Each guest will appear in select cities, offering fans unique performances tailored to each stop. The setlist is rumored to include a mix of GN’R classics like *“Welcome to the Jungle,”* *“November Rain,”* and *“Sweet Child o’ Mine”* alongside AC/DC staples such as *“Back in Black,”* *“Highway to Hell,”* and *“Thunderstruck.”*
The tour kicks off in Los Angeles on September 7, 2025, at the historic Dodger Stadium. From there, the band will travel to New York, Toronto, London, Berlin, Sydney, Tokyo, and wrap up in Rio de Janeiro on December 20. Tickets go on sale April 20, with fan club members receiving early access.
Fans might recall that Axl Rose previously fronted AC/DC in 2016 after Brian Johnson stepped down due to hearing issues. That temporary role formed the bond between Rose and Young, which clearly left a lasting impression. Now, nearly a decade later, they’re reuniting—this time with even more firepower.
“This tour is about legacy,” Slash added. “We’ve played stages all over the world, but doing it one last time with Angus and our friends makes it unforgettable.”
Merchandise, special VIP packages, and exclusive meet-and-greet events will also be available. A documentary crew is reportedly following the tour to produce a behind-the-scenes feature, chronicling the tour’s highlights and final moments of one of rock’s greatest acts.
As the curtain slowly begins to fall on Guns N’ Roses’ incredible career, the addition of Angus Young ensures that this final tour won’t just be memorable—it’ll be historic. For rock fans everywhere, *“Paradise City: The Final Ride”* promises to be the ultimate encore.
