Breaking News: Rush Announces Final World Tour – Dates and Cities Revealed…

In a move that has electrified fans worldwide, legendary Canadian rock band Rush has officially announced their final world tour. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees revealed the tour dates and cities earlier today, confirming that this will be their last time hitting the road together. Aptly named *“Time Stand Still: The Farewell Tour,”* this marks the end of an era for one of rock’s most influential power trios.

The announcement came via a live-streamed press conference featuring guitarist Alex Lifeson and bassist/vocalist Geddy Lee. The band confirmed that this tour is meant to celebrate over five decades of music while giving fans a proper goodbye. Though drummer Neil Peart passed away in 2020, the group stated that they’ve worked with Peart’s family to honor his legacy throughout the tour.

“We’re doing this one for Neil, for the fans, and for the journey we’ve all taken together,” Geddy Lee said emotionally. “We never imagined it would go this far, and now we want to say thank you the best way we know how—on stage.”

The *Time Stand Still* tour will kick off on **August 1, 2025, in Toronto**, the band’s hometown, and will continue across **North America, Europe, South America, and Asia**, covering over 40 cities. While fans have long speculated whether Rush would ever tour again after Peart’s passing, today’s news confirms what many had hoped for—a proper farewell from a band that redefined progressive rock. Despite Peart’s absence, Lifeson and Lee reassured fans that the show will remain faithful to their spirit, with visual tributes, archival footage, and musical arrangements preserving Peart’s iconic drumming.

“Rush has always been about pushing boundaries,” Lifeson said. “This tour will be no different. Expect surprises, deep cuts, and the energy of a lifetime.”

As Rush prepares to take the stage one last time, fans old and new are preparing for a historic run that will no doubt leave a lasting legacy in rock history.
