Rush Has Officially Announced Their 2025 Reunion Tour, Marking Their First Extensive Live Performances Since 2007. The Tour, Titled “The Rush Legacy Tour 2025,” Is Set to Begin on June 10, 2025, at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium…

Canadian rock legends Rush have officially confirmed their long-awaited return to the stage with the announcement of *The Rush Legacy Tour 2025*, a full-scale reunion tour that will mark their first major series of live performances since 2007. The tour kicks off June 10, 2025, at the iconic SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and promises to be a monumental celebration of the band’s enduring legacy.

Comprising founding members Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson, the reunited Rush is set to embark on a 40-date tour across North America, thrilling fans with a career-spanning setlist and revamped stage production. The tour announcement has sent shockwaves through the rock community, as many believed the band had permanently retired from touring following drummer Neil Peart’s retirement in 2015 and his passing in 2020.

In a heartfelt statement released alongside the tour announcement, Geddy Lee shared, “We’ve had a lot of time to reflect on what Rush means to us, to the fans, and to music. This tour is a way to honor everything we’ve done together—and to celebrate Neil, whose spirit is in everything we play.” Alex Lifeson added, “We wanted to do this the right way, with love, passion, and authenticity. The time finally felt right.”

The band has yet to reveal who will fill the massive void left by Peart behind the drum kit, but rumors suggest a special rotating lineup of prominent guest drummers, including notable names like Dave Grohl, Danny Carey, and Mike Portnoy, may participate on select dates.

The *Legacy Tour* will showcase hits from every era of Rush’s expansive catalog, from early prog-rock epics like *2112* and *Xanadu* to radio staples such as *Tom Sawyer*, *Limelight*, and *The Spirit of Radio*. Longtime fans can also expect deep cuts and fan favorites rarely performed live, along with stunning visuals and a high-concept stage design that pays tribute to the band’s decades-long journey.

Tickets for the tour go on sale April 26, with a special fan pre-sale beginning April 23. VIP packages, which include exclusive merchandise, early entry, and access to a pre-show Q&A with Lee and Lifeson, will also be available.

Rush last toured extensively in 2007 during the *Snakes & Arrows* World Tour, and although they embarked on smaller runs afterward, including the *R40* tour in 2015, the band had remained largely inactive as a live act. With this new chapter, they’re ready to remind the world why they remain one of rock’s most revered and innovative acts.

As anticipation builds, one thing is certain: *The Rush Legacy Tour 2025* will be more than a concert—it will be a powerful tribute to friendship, music, and the timeless bond between band and fans.
